JS-NOTARY LLC APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION & DEPOSIT POLICY

Thank you for choosing JS-Notary LLC. We schedule appointments to guarantee dedicated time for each client. Please review our policy carefully before finalizing your booking.

1. Booking Deposits

* All appointments require a non-refundable deposit paid at the time of scheduling.

* This deposit secures your specific time slot with the notary public.

2. Strictly No Schedule Modifications

* Once an appointment is confirmed, it cannot be modified, adjusted, or moved to a different time on that same day.

* All same-day scheduling changes are treated as a cancellation.

3. Rescheduling for a New Date

* You may reschedule your appointment to a completely new date without losing your deposit by providing at least 24 hours' notice prior to your original appointment time.

* Reschedule requests made less than 24 hours before your original appointment time are invalid, resulting in the forfeiture of your deposit.

4. Two-Hour Cancellation Window

* You may cancel your appointment up to two (2) hours before your scheduled time.

* Canceling outside this two-hour window means you vacate the slot but forfeit the booking deposit.

5. Travel and Administrative Fees

* Mobile notary services incur travel, mileage, and administrative fees calculated at the time of booking.

* If an appointment is canceled or a reschedule is requested with less than 24 hours' notice, any prepaid travel and administrative fees are non-refundable.

* If the notary arrives at the location and the signing cannot proceed due to client error, missing paperwork, or lack of proper identification, the client is responsible for 100% of the travel and administrative fees.

6. Immediate Forfeiture of Deposit

* Late Cancellation: Any cancellation made less than two (2) hours prior to your appointment results in the immediate forfeiture of your deposit.

* Late Reschedule: Attempting to move your appointment to a new date with less than 24 hours' notice results in the forfeiture of your deposit.

* No-Shows: If you miss your appointment without notice, you forfeit your deposit entirely.

* To book a new session after any deposit forfeiture, you must schedule a new slot and pay a new deposit.

7. Late Arrivals

* We allow a strict 10-minute grace period for arrivals at the designated meeting location.

* Arriving or being unavailable later than 10 minutes causes the notary to cancel your session to protect subsequent appointments, resulting in a lost deposit and travel fee forfeiture.

8. Required Documentation

* Clients must bring valid government-issued photo identification and all complete, unsigned documents to the appointment.

* If your appointment cannot proceed because you lack required ID, witnesses, or paperwork, you forfeit your deposit and travel fees.

9. Cancellations by JS-Notary LLC and Refunds

* If the notary public must cancel due to severe weather or an emergency, we will notify you immediately.

* You will receive a full refund of your deposit and travel fees, or the option to book a new session.

* Approved refunds are processed within 3-5 business days and credited back to your original payment method.
